Taco Bell Rolls Out Rat Menu Nationwide
LOUISVILLE, Kentucky Far from being embarrassed about the rat invasion at its Taco Bell franchised-outlet in Greenwich Village, New York, Yum! Brands Inc., the parent of Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut, has rolled out a rat menu for its more than 6,000 Taco Bell "śrestaurants' across the nation.
"Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our customers," Yum! Brands said in a statement. "That is why we are putting rats on our menu nationwide "ô it's an upgrade in quality for our customers!"Ł
"Last year, we rolled out E.coli in our lettuce nationally,"Ł said a Yum! spokesman. "That was hit. Customers said they died for it!
"Customer surveys showed that our customers really liked the tacos at our Greenwich Village establishment. They said the tacos there tasted even better than the tacos in other outlets of ours they visited. Now we know why. It's because the Greenwich Village manager took the initiative to upgrade the food ingredients!
"We are also testing roaches, flies and worms,"Ł the spokesman continued, "and so far the response has been great!"Ł
