Liberal Media is Outraged by Myrna Blyth Book, "Spin Sisters"

spin sisters
NEW YORK — The spin sisters, who peddle women's magazines by trying to make women feel insecure, are in high dudgeon over the new book by former Ladies' Home Journal editor, Myrna Blyth.

In her book, Spin Sisters: How the Women of the Media Sell Unhappiness and Liberalism to the Women of America, Blyth says that women's magazines push a liberal political agenda and perpetuate the notion that women are victims.

"That's ridiculous," said Kate White, editor of Cosmopolitan, as she finished writing the headline, 'Guys Share 76 Awesome Bedroom Tricks Used by the Best Lovers They've Ever Had.' "Women DO worry about not knowing how to drive their man wild in bed, and whether their feet smell. Do you know any good tips for the bedroom, and would you mind sniffing my feet?"

Ellen Levine, editor in chief of Good Housekeeping, finished writing the headline, 'Lose Your Body Fat Fast!,' and said she was incensed that Ms. Blyth had been able to control her weight. She asked, "Does this skirt make my bum look fat?"

Glamour magazine's editor-in-chief, Cindi Leive, who was writing the headline 'Everything Men Wished We Knew About Their Bodies,' said that Ms. Blyth had penis envy. "I think Myrna has serious penis envy. And, actually, I've always wanted to know what it was like to be a man. Maybe I could strap on one of those..."

Ms. Blyth also took a swipe at women on television, particularly Katie Couric, the self-obsessed Today show anchor with the ridiculously huge grin. "How dare she criticize me," fumed Ms. Couric. "But enough about her, let's talk about me!"
